Ivan & Dimitri have 20+ combined years of furniture delivery experience throughout metro Boston & New England. Most of that was with a great company which is no loger around - Dial-a-Mattress. We were very lucky and fortunate to be a part of a terrific team - great culture, great people and great founder/manager. The company really cared for the Customer, and taught us a lot as to how we should deal with our customers.
We've done commercial contracts with Bob's & Ikea. All along we've also ran our moving company.
BCLDH is an affiliate of our fully licenced MA moving business. It is only a diversification arm, intended to fill the market niche for LTL. Freelancing with CL items has been an interesting journey. So far, the responce has been great; we are considering opening the calendar for all days. The calendar is open for the weekend only for now, as we streamline our marketing efforts and that seems the only convenient time for all the buyers and sellers.
Phone Support | No Sales People | No phone support out of India
Our phone support is not the greatest, but we are ultimately only 2 guys. There's no way we could affort to have a dedicated phone person with the current everyday low prices, and we are not planning on outsorsing this to India. Please note that you are talking directly with the guys getting your job done; the trade: sometimes we might have to play phone tag. It is a bit difficult to provide excellent phone service and carry a three seater sleeper sofa to the third floor at the same time.
For pre-purchase decisions, please e-mail us with the link to the item and the details at each address: we'll gladly give you a quote. Same day jobs have to be agreed to over the phone.
The availability & booking calendar is intended to give you an ided of what our availability is. Only when you are sertain of your and your seller's schedules book a time slot. Multiple bookings of several timeslots will only confuse everyone.
Accuracy on the Availability & Booking Calendar
Not accurate at all. The simple curbside to curbside jobs, and very light items first floor to first floor (garage) will fit in the $29 minimum. A few orders each weekend are in that category.
The average order falls in the $50 range. Mostly that is due to the stairs, multiple items, and/or miles.
We are here to work with you to make the deal. It is in everyone's interest to make another great deal on the list. At the same time we have our costs, and the already low prices do not allow us to move much lower.
